A video recording of a consumer that was at a store while it was being robbed made rounds on the internet. The incident happened at a store in Johannesburg. The man stayed calm throughout the whole incident, the robbers were armed. The video recording shows the man buying his item from the man at the shops, he then speaks to a lady that was at the shops.
Two of the robbers then get into the shop while one of the robbers stands at the door to lookout for them. One man is also seen with his hands up. The consumer sees the robbers and then continues looking at what is seemingly a juice box. The man stays calm while the robbers are still robbing the place, he sips from his juice box. The authorities say the event happened on the 16th of July.
Social media users commended the man, who was seen wearing a blue cap, for being calm throughout the whole ordeal. One social media user says, “The guy in a blue cap is awesome. Wonder where he got those lessons [from] staying calm in situations like that.” One user says, “I like how the guy in the blue cap and the lady with him are just minding their own tuck shop.” One social media user says, “That guy got a degree in minding his own business.” One user says, “The way that guy in a blue cap is so relaxed though.”
