Vusi Thembekwayo has been in the social media trends for his beefs with certain people such as media personality, Sizwe Dhlomo, and furniture maker Sentletse. However, now the rock star public speaker is trending on social media because it was alleged that he owes the South African Revenue Services (SARS) a lot of money. It is also alleged that the Vusi Thembekwayo’s children are also financially removed from their school.

“Vusi Thembekwayo owes SARS R20 million and has never filed for income tax. His kids were financially excluded from Reddam in January,” says social media influencer ‘Man’s Not Barry Roux’. Black Twitter doesn’t believe that the public speaker owes SARS money. “Vusi Thembekwayo owing SARS R20 Million story is propaganda till someone shows where it’s derived from. Christo Wiese [Shoprite Group CEO] owes SARS R3.78 Billion More that what is said about Vusi…,” says one tweep. One tweep says, “ They training hard to break him. Let’s protect him from the enemy at all cost…”

Some tweeps used the hashtag #HandsOfVusiThembekwayo. One tweep says, “Vusi is our role model as black South African. He showed us that we can also make it in life, we must never limit our dreams everything is possible if we’re working hard. Remember his success is not through corruption and he is not tenderpreneur.” One tweep says, “Vusi Thembekwayo, a real young Pan African stalwart. I have seen his stormy passage across Africa; Kenya, Namibia, Ghana, Nigeria, banging tables in anger, attacking Whites for disrespecting Africans and demanding One Africa for Africans…”
