Vth Season’s Afrosoul Extraordinaire Ami Faku Nabs 4 Nominations For The 2022 South African Music Awards (SAMAs)
Johannesburg, Wednesday, 8 June 2022: Vth Season’s award-winning and platinum-selling voice of Afrosoul, Ami Faku, is bearing the fruits of her feature run of singles post the success of her critically acclaimed debut album “Imali”. After being at the helm of South Africa’s most impactful collaborations of the 2021-2022 period, the singer-songwriter has nabbed four nominations for the 2022 South African Music Awards scheduled to take place on the 31st of July 2022.
Ami Faku’s signature Afrosoul contribution coupled with an Amapiano escapade has garnered three Record of The Year Nominations for “Phakade Lami” with Nomfundo Moh & Sha Sha in addition to “Abalele” and “Asibe Happy” with Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, followed by one Music Video Of The Year Award for “Phakade Lami”.
