A video of a driver going at over 300Km/h made rounds on the internet this, since it came out on Monday. The Road Traffic Management Corporation has asked the driver to hand him or herself over to the authorities for going well above 300km/h. The Road Traffic Management Corporation went on Twitter to state they have the Midrand, Gauteng, address of the driver.

They have given the person the opportunity to hand themselves over. “The speeding motorist has been identified by our traffic authorities. He must come forward and present himself or we will visit him at him at hi place of resident in Midrand,” says the Road Traffic Management Corporation. The video recording of the supposed Audi R8 made rounds, therefore bringing a number of news articles that speak about speeding and accidents.

A lot of people saw the action as a careless one. The video recording is believed to have been shot at the section of the N1 highway in Johannesburg. The Road Traffic Management Corporation also revealed the fastest speeds people were caught doing during the holiday season. The highest speed was seen in Free State, with a driver hitting 248km/h by the R730 highway in a 100km/h zone.
