FREE STATE – On Friday 15 July 2022 at about 15:30 Welkom K9 unit members were en-route to Odendaalsrus for an operation when they saw a known male walking along the R30 road between Welkom and Odendaalsrus
Members stopped and approached the suspect. Upon close inspection, the members found drugs such as CAT, Chrystal Meth and Tik in the container near his vehicle. The 39-year-old suspect was arrested for possession and dealing in drugs.
He will appear in the Welkom Magistrate court soon.
