A paramedic was apprehended for allegedly cutting off a diamond ring from a patient who passed away. The Arkansas, United States of America, paramedic was thus also alleged to have sold it for quite a cheap price at a pawnshop. The paramedic, Lisa Glaze, was brought in by authorities for a theft, which gives her 10 years in jail.

She was thus also charged with the unlawful exchange of stolen property to a pawnshop, which is a year in jail. It is reported that the patient, Gloria Robinson, had a medical emergency on the 16th of October and was then taken to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, she was pronounced a dead at the hospital. Her items were given to the husband and sister who saw that three of Gloria Robinson’s rings were not included in her items. The sister then asked Lisa Glaze about the rings; however, lisa Glaze didn’t reply and just walked away.

Two days after her passing away, Gloria Robinson’s loved ones were given a bag that had two of her rings at the funeral home that she was in. The third ring is thought to have been cut off the passed away patient’s finger. The ring cost an approximate R118 000. The 50-year-old paramedic was said to have sold a ring that matches the one that was missing at a pawnshop for an estimate of R662. The pawnshop worker acknowledged that she was the one who sold the ring.
