A lady was over the moon when she got what she has been waiting for when her man asked her to be his wife. However, the engagement ring she got was not what she anticipated. The ‘Daily Mail’ reports that the woman thought to be from the United Kingdom and her man have been talking about marriage for about three years.
The woman, however, didn’t like the ring that he had been supposedly saving up to purchase after being together for 8 years. The woman on ‘reddit’ says, “We been together for 8 years & talking [about] getting married for almost 3 [years]. [This is the] ring he saved up to buy for me. Am I being shady or materialistic if I tell [this] mf [I don’t] want [this] little a** ring?” The woman didn’t like the size of the ring. The ring had a small diamond in the centre.
Some users reacted to the man saving up for the ring. “Not gonna lie. I’d be more concerned about his “saving up” to buy something that little. Simply because it shows that a wedding is probably not in the budget.” One reddit user says, “They’ve been talking about getting married for 3 years but never talked about rings or budget? I would not wear that ring, not because it’s small, but because it’s not my taste and I don’t want to look at it everyday. Plus, my husband knew what I wanted because we talked about it.”
