The South African Police Service in Uitenhage are urgently seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of an unidentified male.
The decomposed body of an unidentified male was discovered by a community member, lying in the bushes close to the railway crossing in Amanzi, outside Kariega at about 13:45 on Sunday, 8 May 2022. The deceased was clad in a navy blue top, grey and blue Nike tekkies and a black Kappa tracksuit pants. A case of murder was opened and is under investigation.
Anyone who might be looking for a relative or who might be able to assist with information that can lead police to his next of kin, or the identity of the deceased, or the suspects is requested to contact the investigating officer, Constable Shaun Mbonda on 082 302 5810.
