Physical neglect – Children must be provided with adequate food, clothing, shelter, supervision, and protection from potential harm.
Emotional neglect – Failing to provide affection or love or other kinds of emotional support.
Medical neglect – Failing to get appropriate care for the child, such as needed treatment for injuries or physical or mental health disorders.
Educational neglect – Children have the right to education and must be enrolled in a school or receive home schooling.
