The Police in Maleboho have today proceeded with crime awareness campaign at pay points to alert recipients of social grant about various crime trends.
The initiative held at Hlona village, was led by social crime prevention coordinator Sergeant Thoka joined by CPF and YCOP members.
The following topics were addressed:
*Human trafficking
*Carjacking
*Prevention of cash in transit
*To be careful with their social grant money to prevent robberies
*Gender Based Violence
*Respecting women during Women’s Month
Safety pamphlets were also distributed to the community members.
