How to Land Your First Accounting Job In South Africa

Viral Feed Viral Feed April 29, 2019
For young people in entrepreneurship, success is often portrayed as crossing the finish line and not necessarily the race. This portrayal undermines the significance and value of the journey of entrepreneurship as a character and strength building exercise which one benefits from in all areas of life.‘The Unbreakable Entrepreneurs’ campaign by CAN DO! by Nampak Bevcan (Sub Saharan Africa’s preferred manufacturer of aluminium beverage cans) has curated a culture where young entrepreneurs are dared to dream big and are encouraged to share their unbreakable stories as they travel the unknown in business. The campaign aims to identify and empower young entrepreneurs who best represent the unbreakable nature of the beverage cans that Nampak Bevcan manufactures. These are young people who are defying the odds to run their businesses, those with a ‘no-excuses’ attitude and those who believe failure is just not an option. The brand is calling on unbreakable young South African entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-35 to enter their business in the competition to stand a chance of winning R100 000 in business resources. Entrepreneurs can enter through the CAN DO! Website - http://cando.sa.com/unbreakable-season-3/ - where they will go through an internal selection process. Once selected, a top 12 will be notified that will then move onto the elimination round, from which a top 6 will be selected. The Top 6 Unbreakable Entrepreneurs are profiled and advertised across social media (and in some cases mainstream media) to gain public votes to stand the chance to win the following: 1st Prize: R100 000 in business resources 2 nd Place: R50 000 in business resources 3 rd Place: R25 000 in business resources Entry requirements as follows: The business must be operating and registered with CIPC Entrants must have a South African ID or valid work permit Entrants must be between the ages 18-35 years old To better their chances of being selected, contestants are encouraged to upload a 45sec video of themselves motivating why they and their business is UNBREAKABLE on instagram or Facebook tagging CAN DO! using the hashtag #UnbreakableS3.
