Police Officials Searching For Driver After Viral Video Of Passenger’s Life Being In Danger At Back Of Van. The Durban metro police are looking for a driver who put the life of a passenger in danger.

The Durban metro police are looking for a driver who put the life of a passenger in danger. This was after a video recording of a man who was holding on to goods at the back of a delivery truck, which showed how unsafe it was at the end of the video. Senior Superintendent Parboo Sewpersad, the metro police spokesperson, says the event happened at the Durban N2 freeway.

The officials knew about the instance when the video recording came up on the internet. In the video recording it was seen that some of the goods that the man was holding onto was taken away by the wind, which almost led to the man getting injured. The recording date of the video is not known. The metro police spokesperson says they will be looking for the person who owns the truck, so the person can guide them to the driver.

Senior Superintendent Paboo Sewpersad says, “We are looking for the owner of the vehicle. He or she will lead us to the person who was driving the vehicle at the time. What the driver did is unacceptable and against the National Road Traffic Act. The motorist has contravened the law and we are looking for him or her.” The metro police spokesperson also cautioned drivers to obey the legislation, especially when driving with passengers or goods. He says drivers with goods should be on alert that the goods are transported in a way that they make no contact with people. “What we saw from that video, the passenger was leaning on roofing material on the back of the open van. He was fortunate he was not blown away by the wind,” says the metro police spokesperson.
