One Twitter user went on to the social media platform to tell ladies about being rejected as a woman when shooting your shot. The tweet made rounds on social media. The tweep said the tweep was about normalising rejection for women. She first started with her experience of being rejected as a woman.
The tweep started speaking about how she thought that her and the guy she was pursuing had a spark. “So there was this guy I liked, we went out a few times and in my head we had a connection. Anyway one day, after what I thought was a great evening, I go “can I kiss you?” And he goes “oh s**t. I’m so sorry if I gave you the wrong impression, I just really like talking to you.” She went on to say that when she heard what the guy said she just up and left because she didn’t know what to do after that. “At that point I wasn’t sure what to do. So I just told him goodnight and left.”
Other tweeps followed the thread and also went on speaking about how they were rejected after pursuing the guys they liked. One tweep says she was rejected by two men that she tried to pursue. The tweep says, “…1. Shot the shot; no response for 14 days. 2. Another one; n***a played hard to get rejected the initial bullet I sent him; I got p***ed ghosted for 5 months came back with more money in my pocket and he agreed…” One tweep went on to say that she has never been rejected by a guy. The tweep says, “All my shots have always hit their targets. Never been rejected.”
