What would you do if you find out that your significant other married you all because of a bet? Well, one social media user didn’t have to think about the situation. The woman has been married to her husband for four years and it’s all because he lost a bet. The woman started by talking about how she and her husband started meeting each other.
The woman was employed in different units at a law firm. She went on to speak about how she was approached by a good-looking colleague when they were at the firm’s Christmas event. When the man asked her out on a date she agreed to go out with him. After they went out on a date they were both liking each other’s presence, thereafter going out on several other dates. The woman says they then started being in the feels for each other and then started being a couple soon after. After two years of being a couple, the two of them decided to make it official by getting married. She also said that being with him helped her grow her belief in herself and her style. Fast-forward to six years after the bet.
The woman meets one of her former workmates who thus asks about her husband, the workmate didn’t know that the two are a married couple. She then found out the crushing truth that she was part of a bet. The former workmate went on to say, “I can’t believe he actually went through with the bet.” The colleague former workmate went on tell her that he lost a bet at work and as a result he was supposed to go on about four dates with the woman. The woman went on to speak about how she screamed at the former workmate, who then apologised extensively because he didn’t know that he was being offensive towards the woman. Some of the social media users had questions of whether the incident was true or false.
