The coronavirus has people emphasizing the importance of hygiene as a form of preventing the virus from spreading. However, one Tik Tok user to tally went against the hygiene emphasis when she posted a video recording of the ‘coronavirus challenge’. In the video recording, the lady is seen licking the toilet seat of an airplane.
The video recording made rounds on the internet. A tweet accompanied with the video said: “…so people can know how to properly be sanitary on the airplane…” The tweet was seeking for retweets. The user said that coronavirus is for poor people and she is glad that the virus is taking out all the old people. “I hope it takes me out next so I never get ugly,” says the user. She also stated that she doesn’t care if she is cancelled by the internet because she is blonde, rich and skinny.
She says that she can get up from anything because of her hot girl privilege. Since she posted the video recording she has been criticised on social media by Twitter. Skai Jackson says, “What is going on…y’all wan the corona so bad…” She also went on to say, “People are really licking airplane bathroom toilet seats for tik toks? It’s all fun and games until you start coughing…” One tweep says, “One tweep says, “That’s just gross, even without the current hysteria.”
