Watch! Nigerian Billionaire Took Out $10 Million Just To Look At It. . He wanted to know that the numbers that he saw on paper were actually money.
The Nigerian Billionaire, Aliko Dangote, went on to an Ivory Coast platform on Saturday. He told the host that he once withdrew $10 million cash from the bank, just to look at it. He wanted to know that the numbers that he saw on paper were actually money. The question was asked by Mo Ibrahim about how it was when he first acquired his first million dollars.
“One day, I cashed 10 million, put it in the boot of my vehicle. And I went home and I opened it. I looked at 10 million and I said ‘ok now I have 10 million’,” Aliko Dangote says to Mo Ibrahim.
Dangote also believes that agriculture and technology may help Africa advance within this fourth industrial era. He also said that the African youth should not get dragged by the first wave of success. He said that Africans spend most of their money, he says people should be cautious because “there are ups and downs” in businesses.
The business magnate says that he also doesn’t like the export and import procedures that have to be acquired, which disadvantage businesses in Africa. Dangote says he does not like the procedures because it messes up the business. He also gave an example with his cement business, whereby the cement company is looking at a lot of cons with exporting from Nigerian firms to Benin in Southern Nigeria. The city takes its imports from China, which Dangote says is expensive as compared to his exports.
