Watch: Man Swims In His House During The Durban Flood. He put the table on higher surface, so that he could be able to float around.

KwaZulu-Natal has been having a huge flood crisis at Umlazi. This didn’t stop one male from swimming in his flooded house. The male was video recording himself floating around in the water that has entered his house.

He put the table on higher surface, so that he could be able to float around. Tweeps were cracking at the action that the male took during the flood. One tweep said: “Motivation: sometimes one needs to make light of a bad situation. Somehow it is therapeutic.” One other tweep said: “He finally got a pool.”

One tweep said that it’s better for the man to float around in the water than to go about getting stressed about how his going to rebuild again. Other tweeps quoted the famous saying “when life gives you lemons. You make lemonade.”

KwaZulu-Natal was critically flooded on Tuesday. A large amount of people have been pronounced as dead. The South African leader, President Cyril Ramaphosa, went to impacted areas in KwaZulu-Natal. The president also went to the damaged areas in the Eastern Cape.The approximated of people that have passed away at the flooding incident.

Houses that were situated at the bottom were totally demolished. The communities are now focused on building houses again. Sihle Zikalala, the acting premier of KwaZulu-Natal, says, “ By next week, we are sure that we will be making announcements and in as far as issues with funerals and in as far as projects that will assist us to ensure that people who lost houses are assisted to get houses.”
