Gauteng has been a mess for the past few days. Johannesburg Central Business District has been in total unrest, with some people looting some of the foreign owned shops in the area. This has made it unsafe for some people to go about in the area. However, one school child was lucky to have someone accompany him through the chaos to a safe place.
A tweep sent a heart-warming video recording of the learner accompanied by a taxi marshal. The taxi marshal can be seen holding the child’s hand as they walk towards a safe place. The Twitter user who posted the video says, “Amidst the unrest in #JoburgCBD I was touched to see that there are those who still are human at heart! One of the taxi marshals (known as Ntshebe) accompanying a school pupil to haven.” The twitter user says the man wasn’t the only one doing this for the school children, he says there were other’s doing the same.
Tweeps commended the man for his actions. One tweep says, “A father who cares about the safety of children…I stan.” One tweep says, “We still have Men in this country…He is my hero of the day.” One tweep says, “What a good person.
