NORTH WEST – The police in Potchefstroom arrested two suspects aged 33 and 38 respectively for possession of dagga.
On Sunday, 14 June 2020 at about 08:30, members were doing routine patrol when they spotted a suspicious white Volkswagen Polo exiting Syferfontein gravel road and joining the R54 (Vereeniging – Potchefstroom) road and driving towards Potchefstroom direction. The members immediately followed the vehicle and tried to stop it, but the driver sped off. As a result, back up was called and the vehicle was stopped by members of Potchefstroom Flying Squad just before it drove into N12 (Johannesburg – Potchefstroom) road.
