Tweeps React To Babes Wodumo Allegedly Dropping Charges Against Mamphintsha. The National Prosecuting Authority has acknowledged that the charges against Mandla Maphumulo, also known as Mamphintsha, were withdrawn.

The National Prosecuting Authority has acknowledged that the charges against Mandla Maphumulo, also known as Mamphintsha, were withdrawn. He was charged for physical assault by Bongekile Simelane, also known as Babes Wodumo. Both parties were at the Pinetown Magistrate’s court, in KwaZulu-Natal, after they both abandoned their court date on Tuesday.

The spokesperson of the National Prosecuting Authority, Natasha Kara, says the charges were withdrawn because the two parties stuck to the Alternative Dispute Resolution (a mediation) procedures that they stuck to. Babes and Mamphintsha both accepted to an intervention from Famsa, where they both received counselling.

Tweeps were not happy, because according to some news sites it was said that Babes Wodumo dropped the charges against Mamphintsha. One tweep says, “Babes Wodumo will Confuse Y’All Till You Start [Minding] Your Own Business…” One users with a controversial twitter account says, “Babes Wodumo is worse than Bafana Bafana.”

One tweep withdrew his support for Babes Wodumo and Mamphintsha. The tweep says, “I no longer f**k with Babes Wodumo and Mamphintsha.” One tweep says, “This whole Babes wodumo saga has [taught] me to drink water and mind my own tuck shop.” One tweep encouraged people to stop buying music from the two artists. The tweep says, “We should teach Babes Wodumo and Mamphintsha a lesson, by not supporting them and stop buying their music.”

One tweep says, “She resorted to ADR which if successful would automatically render the chargers null and void. So technically and otherwise- Babes Wodumo dropped the charges. She was gonna [do] ADR and still pursue criminal charges. She left the state without a choice.”
