Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N3 Eastern bypass in Oriel, Bedfordview.
Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that seven people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Once treated the patients were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
