Me and my boyfriend of a year are seriously discussing about moving in together. My parents are not happy about this idea as moving in with someone before marriage is a big stigma in the country I’m originally from and they worry that we’d break up instead of getting married. We both feel like it is the right time and are very serious about this relationship.
At the same time, I’m quite a bit of a “good girl” kind of girl and don’t want to do something that my parents don’t approve of, I want them to stay happy. Boyfriend cannot really talk to them as we are in another country.I feel like I’m stuck between my parents and my boyfriend.
Please help me solve this situation. Any piece of advice is appreciated.
