Tweeps went on to create a challenge named after hip hop artist DMX. The hip hop artist didn’t release a new song. The tweeps took a part from one of old songs titled ‘What They Want’, the song featured Sisqo. The part of the song that the tweeps used for the challenge was where he names the woman that he had a fling with. The tweeps used the song to show the different hairstyles they’ve had. Celebs such as Nomuzi Mabena, Mbali Nkosi and Shamiso also went in on the trend. The trend was called the #DMXChallenge. These are some of the Mzansi posts that were posted under the hashtag.
