So my relationship with my gf started as being friends in my main group of friends. We started going out 2 months ago but since we started going out during hard time in school so we agreed that there wouldn’t be time to go out on our first date until we were done exams. Now we’re done exams I’ve asked her out a few times, with each time involving an awkward atmosphere where she would have an excuse why we couldn’t meet up. Our only way of meeting was through events that our group had, and during which we would usually have a good time. But now our convos have been running dry and it feels taboo to talk about going on our date. She’s also had commitment issues due to a previous relationship where she was lead on and thrown away. tl;dr girlfriend makes excuses to not go on dates, only wants to meet during group events.
