Pretoria students have a new and luxurious student accommodation near some of them. However, the accommodation comes at a hefty price for some people. The iQ property apartments in Pretoria are offering upmarket student accommodations. The apartment is priced at about R1 million, with studio apartments costing R995 000.
According to a report, the Pam Golding Properties regional development sales and commercial property manager in Pretoria, Ilma Brink says that the accommodation is good for tudents who don’t want to live within the normal residences. “This is a secure development offering a value added luxury option, at affordable prices, for students who do not wish to reside in an ordinary residence,” says Illma Brink. Social media users were shocked at the price of the apartments.
One tweep says these types of apartments are probably for people who take more than the minimum years to finish a tertiary course. The tweep says, “This is probably for the political active students, you know the ones who take 10 years for a 3 year course, it’s too much money for a 3 year stay.” One tweep says, “They meant accommodation right? The word student is probably a mistake.” One tweep says he can go back to varsity just for the apartment.
