Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on collision on the corners of Commercial and Pietermaritz Street in Pietermaritzburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control knocking down a traffic light then coming to rest against a wall.
Upon assessment no occupants were found, witnesses said that the driver ran away from the scene
