Father Apprehended For Hitting His Child With A Hammer. The female said that the male once blamed her of having an affair.
A male, age 38-years-old, was apprehended for supposedly slamming a 12-year-old child with a hammer. The mother of the 12-year-old male claimed that her 38-year-old partner charged on the 31-year-old female with a hammer but she had the power to get him off. She also said that her child was unable to fight him because he was not powerful enough.
The mother says, “I’m grateful he is alive and want that man to stay behind bars forever.” The claimed charge occurred on Wednesday evening at a leased room at Thembisa in Ekurhuleni. According to Daily Sun, when the male came to the leased room in Thembisa intoxicated he would insult her and beat her up.
The female said that the male once blamed her of having an affair. He then beat her up. The 30-year-old female says, “I decided to leave. I left our son because I thought he was safe with his father.” The female dialled the police when her next door neighbours told her that her child was in trouble. The female says the authorities went to the scene as soon as possible.
The police spokesperson, Captain Manyaza Ralidziba, says that the male was apprehended at the time when the police arrived at the scene. The male is looking at a case of physical abuse. The child was transferred to a health centre for the marks on his body. The child is now in the custody of his mother.
