DURBAN – Plessislaer police are requesting for assistance from the community concerning the whereabouts of the person in the attached picture. Mandla Thulakoni Hlophe is wanted for a murder and attempted murder case that they are investigating. The warrant for his arrest has been issued by court.
On 24 March 2020, police responded to a murder and attempted murder incident at Section 18 Imbali, Plessislaer. Police found the body of Senziwe Happiness Mbatha with multiple gunshot wounds on her body in the outside building. Cases of murder and attempted murder were subsequently opened at Plessislaer SAPS. It is alleged that the suspect disappeared from the area after the incident.
