Dumi Masilela’s Friend Is Set To Testify. The people that were friends and family to the “Rhythm City” actor who passed away, Dumi Masilela, are waiting for the person who killed him to be arrested.
The people that were friends and family to the “Rhythm City” actor who passed away, Dumi Masilela, are waiting for the person who killed him to be arrested. However, the actor’s best friend wants to attest about the murder of the star in court. Dumi Masilela was shot in August 2017 while he drove away from people who wanted to hijack him.
A trial linked to the killing of the actor continued this week, the trial is currently being held at the Benoni Magistrate Court. The trial was postponed at an earlier time this month because one of the suspects was hospitalised .Bongani was with Dumi Masilela when he was fired at. Bongani accompanied Dumi to the hospital, where he passed away.
Bongani says he could have opted not to be a witness at the court proceedings, he then said that took from the memory of Dumi. “I could have easily said: ‘What’s the point of me going to court and testifying because it won’t bring my friend back, whether or not those b*ds are found guilty the person I love is gone.’ Hell no I won’t,” said Bongani.
He said that people need to raise above and take a stand against evil, the same way Dumi Masilela would. He went on to say that people are present in the world for different reasons. He went on to say that’s maybe why he didn’t settle for the fact that bringing justice to the men who killed his friend.
