Couple Takes Wedding Photos At Unlawful Dumping Site. A bride and groom had their wedding photos taken with masks on at an unlawful dumping site full of chemicals.

A bride and groom had their wedding photos taken with masks on at an unlawful dumping site full of chemicals. The bride and groom took the photos in order to make the residents aware that the city is in danger of being a massive landfill area. The wedding shoot happened at dumping site close to Ryazan in Russia.

The bride, Victoria Menshikova, states that that the planning of the shoot took place in September. Victoria went on to say that the bride and groom’s family understand the environmental danger. “We first had the idea of the photo shoot about a month ago, but everyone came together in early September to organise it. I do not belong to any specific environmental organisation, but our families understand that an environmental catastrophe threatens both the city and planet as a whole.”

The groom, Oleg Kabanov, says the shoot was to show that soon people will have to get wedded in such an atmosphere as the whole city will be in danger of being filled with landfill. Oleg Kabanov reportedly states that a chemical waste landill outside of Ryazan has resumed functioning even though there was a court order for the landfill site to be shut down in 2011.The groom claims that on August 12 a fire began at the site and the fire didn’t stop until September. The photos of the wedding were shot by Aleksey Rudenko.
