However, one little thing made a huge mess for one bride’s wedding. The bride who went on to ‘reddit’ stopped her wedding because of the groom’s best man’s height.
She also included some other features that she thought would have messed up her wedding photos. The woman went on to Facebook to speak about the man who spoke about her frustrations regarding the best man who had to walk with the maid of honour, her sister, down the aisle. She also said that her bridesmaids all look gorgeous. She also included facial features that she didn’t like.
“I’m getting married next Saturday. All of my bridesmaids are gorgeous and honestly I can’t imagine having better looking friends. My issue is my fiancé’s best man. He’s only 5ft 3’ tall so he will look ridiculous escorting mu sister down the aisle. He is homely as well. A unibrow and crooked teeth. One of those really big smiles that shows his teeth and 10ft of gum too,” says the bride. The woman suggested that the man be at the end of the line in pictures and during the event so he can be cropped out or avoided in pictures but the groom denied because the man spent an estimate of R148 000 on the bachelor weekend.
The bride says, “I don’t particularly care and if he decides that his gift depends on his placement in the wedding party. I don’t think he’s a good friend anyway. I’m crying and so upset that my fiancé said he wouldn’t move him…I’m so insanely upset and told him I’m calling off the wedding.” The bride received a lot of backlash from people on reddit.
