Black Twitter Wants ‘Rea Tsotella’ Man Arrested For Rape. Yesterday’s episode of Rea Tsotella was a really sad episode because it was about rape.

Yesterday’s episode of Rea Tsotella was a really sad episode because it was about rape. The person who brought her grievance to the show was Thembeka. The woman says she was raped by her sister’s husband when she was an 8-year-old. She says that this happened for two years till she eventually ran away. She claimed that she told her family about the incident but got no help because they relied on him for financial support. Her mother was not fit to work anymore because she got ill.

Thembeka says he also locked her up in a shack, tied her up and raped her for seven days till she managed to get away. He threatened to rape her child if she told anyone about the incident. The daughter was 4 years old at the time. Selinah, the witness, says Thembeka was not his first victim. When he was confronted he denied all the allegations against him. He said that his DNA didn’t link with her DNA in court.

The tweeps were frustrated by Oupa on the show. One tweep says the man is too arrogant. “the arrogance of Oupa, its clear he did it, and it’s clear he knows he will never be prosecuted.” One tweep says the man gave her nightmares last night. “Ntate Oupa gave me nightmares. I didn’t sleep well…,” says the tweep. Some tweeps were disappointed in the family for allowing him to do this to her.

One tweep says, “It’s saddening to discover how much some of the victims family members and the police officers had failed her…Men like Oupa are a disgrace.!!!!” One tweep says people should stop turning a blind eye to the harsh incidents in the country. The tweep says, “We still have a long way to go aslong as the nation turns a blind eye to rape and abuse just because it’s not happening to them, the family and the justice system failed this woman she was only 8, how can this man be so cruel….”
