Black Twitter Reacts To The #SANDF Helping Out The Police With The Lockdown. On Monday, President Cyril Ramaphosa publicised that a national lock down will be initiated for 21 days.

On Monday, President Cyril Ramaphosa publicised that a national lock down will be initiated for 21 days. He stated that the shutdown will begin on the 27th of March. He has also stated that the South African National Defence had been sent out to assist the South African Police in making sure that the lockdown initiation is followed.

Since the announcement by the president, Black Twitter spoke about how ‘Mabena’ will be coming for the people that were making fun of him in training. Others spoke about how the South African National Defence Force will not negotiate with people that are seen outside of their homes. One tweep says, “All those made fun [of] Mabena brace yourself his coming for [you] all…SANDF has no time for negotiations.” One tweep says, “This is gonna be Mabena outside of clubs waiting for his revenge after those trolls!!”

“Whoever is gonna have a run in with Mabena…You gonna pay for the sins of the whole nation…,” says one tweep. South African YouTuber Sibu Mpanza warned people not to argue with the South African Nationnal Defence Force. “Guys, please don’t argue with SANDF. South African authorities are vile. Those okes will beat you for blinking weirdly,” says Sibu Mpanza. Other tweeps told people that they shouldn’t buy in bulk because the supermarkets will still be open for the next three weeks.
