Black Twitter Reacts To The Death Of David Genaro #RhythmCity #TributeToGenaro. On Wednesday’s episode of etv’s ‘Rhythm City’ it was the last time people got the Jami Bartlett’s David Genaro character.

On Wednesday’s episode of etv’s ‘Rhythm City’ it was the last time people got the Jami Bartlett’s David Genaro character. The character was killed by Suffocate and the supposed new Don in town. The exit of the character along with the white doves had people getting into their feels. People loved the character because of the amazing acts of resurrection and the vocabulary of the character.

Black Twitter reacted to one of the most loved characters on South African television being killed. “What is Rhythm City without David Genaro,” says one tweep. One tweep says, “David Genaro! Great character, well portrayed, Mr Bartlett. It is always nice watching you Big up.!!!” One tweep says, “David Genaro is Rhythm City…it won’t be the same without him…” One tweep says, “…I don’t watch Rhythm City but when I do, I want to see [David Genaro] doing his things…so now he’s dead…for the 4th time, I thought he was immortal though…”

One tweep says, “So just like that David Genaro is dead? That surely is the end of Rhythm City.” One tweep says, “Jami Bartlett thank you for portraying the David Genaro character over the years it will forever remain one of the greatest TV characters in SA…” One tweep says, “My heart is in shambles. Our immortal David Genaro is no more!! When I saw the white doves, I just knew that it’s over.”
