On Tuesday Cassper Nyovest had a simple hashtag with a picture of him and house trending on Twitter. The hip hop artist took a picture of him with his house on social media. The hashtag he used was #BoysWithBigCribs. “The Sun was out, wanted to take a selfie and my crib decided to photobomb,” says the ‘Move For Me’ hit maker in his caption. The hashtag had tweeps following it, with some tweeps posting pictures of their houses.
One tweep posted a picture of his house that is still being built. The tweep says, “just to be completed.” One tweep posted the house that he built for his parents. The tweep says, “Can we join #BoysWithBigCribs…This one is for my parents from nothing to something. Mine is loading…” One tweep asked people to help with the roofing for the house his currently building. The tweep says, “Do you all wanna put the roof for me, just [so] I comfortably join #BoysWithBigCribs.” One tweep says, “Let me add to that list…”
Some tweeps jokingly participated. One tweep posted a picture of a prison and made a joke about Oscar Pistorius. The tweep says, “[My] house…I can say hi to Oscar for you.” One tweep says, “Jacob Zuma waiting for yall to do your s**t so he can come in and DEMOLISH err’one.” One tweep says, “I don’t see the Polo and #VW Boys joining this hashtag.” One tweep says, “Waiting for VW boys to compete with this…” One tweep says, “DA LES waiting for mommy’s approval to post her house photos.” Sizwe Dhlomo wanted to know if he should also participate in the hashtag. “This hashtag looks dope…Should we join or,” says Sizwe Dhlomo.
