Black Twitter Mocks Babes Wodumo And Mamphintsha For Messing Up Song Lyrics. A Twitter user posted a video recording of Mamphintsha trying to serenade Babes Wodumo with Ed Sheeran’s song titled ‘Perfect’.

A Twitter user posted a video recording of Mamphintsha trying to serenade Babes Wodumo with Ed Sheeran’s song titled ‘Perfect’. The artist seemed to not understand the lyrics of the song. Black Twitter slammed the man for supposedly messing up the lyrics of the song.

The Twitter user who posted the video says, “When you and your bae are uneducated and inlove…” One tweep says Babes Wodumo should have warned Mamphintsha about singing in English. The tweep says, “Babes should tell Mapmphintsha that “losers know when to quit”. I mean Babes knows that English came with a boat and she never sang a word. But she should’ve gave heads up to Mamphintsha not to singm especially in English.” One tweep says, “These two don’t know how to speak English fluently, why did I expect them to know the lyrics?!”

One tweep says, “Why couldn’t they just sing to Sjava and leave poor Edd alone. I mean it’s not the native tongue but damnit…We have local love songs…” Some tweeps were disappointed that people measured the two artists’ intelligence by using English. One tweep says, “…English is not our mother tongue, you can be smart but be unable to comprehend in English.” One tweep says, “Having a serious challenge in speaking/knowing English is regarded as being uneducated in South Africa, Mzansi? This shouldn’t be the case [because] 95% of whites & English speakers DO NOT KNOW our Zulu/Sotho/Venda/Tsonga/ etc!”
