Double standards are a part of society that makes us want to just wring people because of frustration. Double standards are when a certain group’s action are favoured but when another group does the same actions it’s a bad thing. Women have been victims of double standards for a long time. With the rise of feminism, woman have been taking down the concept of double standards in men.
The taking down of the double standards has caused some of the women to have their standards. This has caused AKA to have his say on the double standards that some of the women have based on physical features. “A woman can say, I don’t date short guys but if a man says he don’t like fat girls…It’s a big problem. Now how the f**k does that work,” says the hip hop artist.
The replies to his post were not expected. Systematic oppression…” One tweep says, “Same way guys can brag about their body counts and ladies cant…” One tweep says the roles have changed between men and women, which makes men complain about double standards.
