Police seek the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a male that was found in the bushes near Perseverance in Despatch on Monday, 25 May 2020. At around 22:00, police were summoned to a scene of a decomposed body of a man. It is alleged that a cattle herder stumbled across the body while he was herding cattle. The deceased was wearing a grey top with greenish stripes and a blue overall pants with reflective stripes. Police opened an inquest docket as no visible injuries could be identified.
