Watch! Two Surfers Arrested For Surfing During Lockdown. Two surfers were apprehended for breaching the Disaster Management Act by the weekend, according to national police officials on Monday.

Two surfers were apprehended for breaching the Disaster Management Act by the weekend (during lockdown), according to national police officials on Monday. Brigadier Vish Naidoo, the police spokesperson, says the men were apprehended at Jeffreys Bay in the Eastern Cape on Sunday. The two men were taken to the area’s police station.

They were both fined R5000 each, according to the Kouga municipality spokesperson, Lara Leigh Randall. In other news, a 53-yearold Chinese man was apprehended for locking up 14 of his workers for numerous days and coercing them to make masks due to the coronavirus pandemic demand. The event happened in KwaZulu-Natal.

The Consulate General of China in Durban says the factory was made to help KwaZulu-Natal people’s battle against the wild spreading Covid-19 virus. The man was given a R20 000 bail when he appeared at the Durban Magistrate’s court with charges linked to breaching the Disaster Management Act.
