Top South African Night Clubs Closed In The Midst Of The Coronavirus Pandemic #Coronavirussouthafrica. On Sunday the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, has banned the gathering of more than 100 people.

Then, on Monday, the Health Minister Doctor Zweli mkhize stated that pub and club prohibitions would be seen as measured used to help restrict the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Several top club areas have closed their doors at all its places as the amount of Covid-19 victims has been increasing, this morning it has been stated that there were 62 acknowledged cases of the virus.

Onyx says, “As a precautionary measure and in line with recommendations set forth by the department of health, we have [taken] the decision to close all of our venues until further notice. Your health and safety as well as the wellbeing of our staff is of paramount importance to us.” Taboo is also part of the clubs that have been closed down in the national coronavirus disaster. On Friday, Taboo was the host of the DStv Mzansi Viewers Choice Awards. The award show was blemished with controversy.

The controversy was because of DStv hosting the award show during the worldwide pandemic. The team has not specified a date as to when the clubs would opened again. The Taboo club has been the host of many celeb birthdays such as Cassper Nyovest and Bonang Matheba.
