Ntsiki Mazwai was on social media again talking about Bonang Matheba. However, this time around she wasn’t really bashing the media personality. Ntsiki was wondering how television would be if Bonang was asked serious questions about current affairs.
Some people thought that the television host was throwing some shade towards Bonang Matheba’s intellect. “Can’t JJ Tabane interview Bonang and ask her serious questions about current affairs please???” When one tweep said that she wants Bonang to be embarrassed, Ntsiki replied by saying that she doesn’t but media personality “must be herself.” Ntsiki says, “I am saying she must be herself. I’m not sure how you’re getting to that conclusion but no it wasn’t a judgement, just a great tv content tweet.”
One tweep said that the interview would be a disaster according to them. However, Ntsiki Mazwai felt as if the way Bonang goes about answering the questions would make it interesting. “…and it would be even better if she had fun with it and took it to unexpected places. Be herself,” says ntsiki Mazwai. One tweep mentioned Bonang’s fashion influence, saying that champagne and Chanel bags aren’t current affairs. Ntsiki replied saying, “Because her talent I fashion and style is too predicatable…it would make such fun tv to have someone dilue our serious issues…just 30 min…”
