From time to time Snapchat tends to bring some filters that make people go crazy. These filters get people flooding social media with photos and videos because of the trend. The filters are actually entertaining. However, this time around the new halloween filter was used on children.
And oh boy the children were frightened for their lives. People decided to use the spider filter on children. The spider is seen crawling across the children’s faces and the back of the neck. The people shared the children’s scary moments on social media. Although the videos of people using the spider filter on children received negative criticism from some news publications and social media users, some social media users found the videos to be quite hilarious.
The spider portrayed on the filter is a large tarantula that would also scare an adult if it was out of nowhere. One tweep says, “It can’t just be me seeing those terrified kids with that bloody stupid snapchat spider filter not remotely funny.” One tweep says, “There is nothing funny about a crying child .
