The eSwatini King, King Mswati III has been reported to have bought his wives new Rolls Royce cars as a gift. A video recording shared by Mzilikazi wa Afrika, an investigative journalist, shows several Rolls-Royce vehicles driving out of a compound. “Amidst all the economic challenges [eSwatini], King Mswati III yesterday decided to bless his wives with very expensive wheels,” says Mzilikazi wa Afrika.
The Citizen reports that a source from the Ministry of Information Communications and Technology states that the king had bought the cars. The source states that the cars came on Tuesday. However, the source wasn’t sure of the amount of the vehicles. It was stated that there might have been about 15 cars. The monarch has reportedly also bought himself a Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV. Black Twitter had different opinions on the matter. Some people were totally against the man purchasing so many expensive cars.

Just saying…” One tweep says, “I went to ask google on how to be King Mswati’s wife because wow…I am ready to be an extra wife…” The Monarch reportedly has about 13 wives.
