Gauteng Is A Drunk Driving Landmark In South Africa. According to the 20118/2019 statistics that were taken out on Thursday, five provinces have lowered in drunk driving and driving under the control of drug substances.

According to the 2018/2019 #CrimeStats statistics that were taken out on Thursday, five provinces have lowered in drunk driving and driving under the control of drug substances. Gauteng, Western Cape, Northen Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape have lowered in the number of instances of driving under the influence.

However, some of these provinces haven’t lowered on the list of the provinces that have instances of driving under the influence. The lot of people that are charged with drunk driving are from Gauteng, with 30 203 instances that were announced. KwaZulu-Natal came in next with over 17 577 instances that were announced, the Western Cape had 12 561 instances that were reported and the Northern Cape had the lowest number of instance with 652 instances that were announced.

Crimes that were linked to drugs in 2018 consisted 68.6% of the announced crimes that occurred in the year. In 2019, 82 912 of the instances were instances of driving under the influence. In 2019, the amount decreased by 3.8% from the 2018 86 160 instances that were announced. Last year, TimesLive reported that over 1500 individuals were being murdered every month in South Africa, with an approximate of 57 individuals being murdered each day. The statistics have, however, risen according to the 2018/19 numbers. The statistics show a rise of 3.4%in the number of murders.
