A video recording of a soldier from the South African Defence Force made rounds on the internet today. The video shows soldiers, could be trainees, from the South African Defence Force practicing to climb a wall but one soldier kept messing it up. As the rest of them were effortlessly climbing the wall, one of the recruits by the name of Mabena was either slow or he stopped before he could climb the wall.
The video shows the soldiers running and then some of them proceeded to climb the wall but Mabena was too slow, he couldn’t pick up his weight. In the second part of the video recording he ran but he stopped before he could climb the wall. The person recording the video kept on reprimanding him. In the last part of the video the person said that Mabena keeps on disappointing him.
“Mabena please disappoint me again. I knew it Mabena,” says the person recording the video. Tweeps were in stitches when they heard what the man said. One tweep says, “…Mabena is set up for failure, straight.” Radio DJ and media personality, DJ Fresh created hashtags in support of Mabena. DJ Fresh says, “#IamMabena #WeAreMabena #MabeningIssue #Mabena.” One tweep says, “ “I knew it Mabena” kills me.”
One tweep says other soldiers were doing their best but Mabena kept messing it up. The tweep says, “Lmao Pravin and Naidoo doing their best but Mabena disappointing again and again.” One tweep was frustrated by the way the soldier was treated. The tweep says, “Some people are so discouraging as for “I knew it mabena.”
