A driver was horrified when a truck tyre totally demolished his vehicle. The Edenvale driver had his karma on his side because he came out of the vehicle without any injuries. This happened at a highway in Gauteng, South Africa.
Emer-G-Med posted the images of the incident , they showed how ruined the vehicle was because of the Thursday event. The incident happened on the R24 east, close to Barbara Road. The paramedics said: “A runaway tyre from a truck collided with the vehicle. Very lucky patient. He was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.”
Last month, a 17-year-old learner at Bloemfontein was hit by a Toyota Hilux bakkie tyre. The police spokesperson of Free State said that the driver felt the car getting a little of balance but he didn’t know that the tyre came out. The tyre hit the young male when it rolled forward and hit the boy’s right head side.
The male was attended to by the response unit. They pronounced the male was dead on the scene. The principal of the school went to identified the boy.
