A Mother Burnt Her Children Because Of KFC Food. The educator of the children was the one who found out about what happened to the children.
A woman was recently arrested at Randfontein. She had a night in prison for reportedly charring her two children, one is a 5-year-old and the other is a 7-year-old, says the West Rand police unit on Wesdnesday.
Sergeant Carmen Hendricks says, “We found that this was all because the children ate her KFC. She had looked for it and the kids said they ate it and she burnt them on the hands and thighs with the iron.”
The educator of the children was the one who found out about what happened to the children. The educator saw the burn marks on the hands of the children on Tuesday, when the schools opened for the second term. The educator asked the stepfather of the children to come to the school when she saw the burn marks on the hands of the children.
The stepfather went to the school and made it clear that he was not in a relationship with the mother of the children. “Upon his arrival spoke to the teacher who informed him that the children do not cope at school and are very scared. It was said that the mother burnt the children with an iron during the school holidays. The children who were staying with the mother at that time, could not talk to anyone until they got to school,” says Sergeant Hendricks.
The children were given to social workers. They are being kept in a facility that’s under the social worker’s watch. The mother is set to be questioned about the incident. The woman might be charged for abusing the minors. The educator says she has seen several other scars on the children before this one.
