65-Year-Old-Lady Passes Away After Being Robbed By Fake Police Officials. A woman was found passed away after a supposed hijacking at Rietspruit in Kliprivier.

A woman was found passed away after a supposed hijacking at Rietspruit in Kliprivier. The couple was supposedly hijacked on a Tuesday night. Captain Mavela Masondo, the police spokesperson, says they have opened a file for the hijacking case, which will be under examination.

The police spokesperson says the 65-year-old lady and her 68-year-old husband were going along the R59 road. When they were heading to an Engen garage, they were stopped by the fraudulent police. The fake police supposedly had a blue light on their car. The people who robbed them are stated to have aimed guns at them and thus hijacked their bakkie, a white Toyota Hilux double cab.

The husband and wife were allegedly went to the R550, where they were told to flee away from the area. At the point, the lady then fell, the 68-year-old husband went to a house close-by to ask for assistance. The Community Policing Forum, called the police officials to the house they went to. Police units were then brought to the area, according to the police spokesperson. The cars was discovered at the R550 road at Zonkizizwe policing area. Captain Mavela Masondo says, “The woman was found lying dead in an open veld without any visible injuries. Police will await the post-mortem that will determine the cause of death.”
