Centane Police arrested a 44-year-old man for the alleged rape of a 53-year-old woman. It is alleged that the victim was raped on Wednesday, 07 August 2019 at about 21h00 at Mathole Locality, Centule Village, Centane.
The suspect is the youngest brother of the late husband of the victim. The victim decided to break the silence about the rape and opened a rape case at Centane Police Station. The 44-year-old suspect was arrested on Saturday, 05 October 2019 and charged with rape. The suspect will appear before the Centane Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 07 October 2019 on a rape charge.
