Man Kills His Girlfriend And Tells His Mother. The police spokesperson, Sergeant Phindile Mavuso says that the male, who is 30-years-old, choked the female, who is 24-years-old, and the female was pronounced dead at the area of the incident.
A male from Zola Extension in Soweto allegedly strangled his girlfriend to death. The man gave himself to the police for the incident. The dead female was found at the back room in the male’s residence. She was discovered on Sunday.
The police spokesperson, Sergeant Phindile Mavuso says that the male, who is 30-years-old, choked the female, who is 24-years-old, and the female was pronounced dead at the area of the incident. This is according to the details that they received. According to the police spokesperson, the female had marks all over her body. Sergeant Mavuso carried on saying that the male called his mother at the Eastern Cape and told her about the incident.
Sergeant Phindile Mavuso says, “The police had been looking for the suspect, who had been on the run since Sunday, but this morning he handed himself over to the police.”
A female that used to work with the deceased said the two of them, the male and deceased femal, had a dispute the week before. However, the woman also says that she was shocked by the killing of the deceased. The female told TimesLive that the deceased female was a very kind and loyal indivual.
Thursday was the last day that she saw the deceased female. The woman says, “…and she was a bit stressed because of the fight she had with her boyfriend. I didn’t make much of it, because it wasn’t the first time they had an issue…” Sergeant Mavuso says the male would be due in in court soon by the time he would be charged for the murder of his girlfriend.
